Let’s Talk About Flaws

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I would like to invite you to flaunt something you believe is a flaw or a look that you would not normally be confident about. I, for one, generally dislike the way my hair looks when it’s up. My hypothesis is that at some point my mother noticed that my hair was dirty and so I put it up. Ever since then she guesses that my hair is dirty when I put it up. I also have an image in my head in which my cheeks look much larger when my hair is up. As women the more we look in the mirror the more imperfections we find. As it turns out other people don’t notice these flaws and they are more of a reflection of  how you see yourself than what is actually there. If your hair is generally straight I invite you to add mouse and blow dry your curls. I have a friend who thinks her legs are too thin, today I invite her to wear a skirt :). I would love to hear what compliments or reactions you’ll hear from your friends, family and co-workers.

As for today’s outfit, I was inspired by the beautiful weather we had this past Sunday. I thought a flower print top, red wedges and a a striped purse fit perfectly with this weather as they represent all the colors of summer.

Have a wonderful day and stay tuned! Tomorrow I’m sharing my birthday dress you with you :).
