On Friendship

“Demons run when a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war

Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war”

― Steven Moffat

It’s very hard to concentrate when there is something on your mind that keeps looping in endless circles until you’re tired and dizzy and lost. I recently lost a childhood friend because I was too self-absorbed to recognize that I was not alone and he was helping me. I am truly sorry for having hurt your feelings. I hope that we are able to mend this wound and move on to watch the next episode of Dr. Who whenever the next one airs.

I apologize for having started your Wednesday on a bitter note but I’m a very emotional and open person. If I had not gotten this off my chest today’s post would have been entirely fake and I would rather keep it real through the good and the bad.

About My Outfit

And now back to a more cheerful topic :), I found this awesome white jersey dress at H&M as I was looking for ways to stay cool in this crazy heat wave. This is also a great beach dress if you remove the belt. I decided to belt it because I thought it looked more elegant and to give my body some shape, since this dress would otherwise be a very loose dress. I added my favorite yellow heels and a turquoise-gold necklace to give it some pop.

I’d love it if you could leave a comment with some feedback or like the page on Facebook.

Enjoy and have a wonderful day!

XO,

–Cindy
