Time for Those Chunky Sweaters!

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
Albert Camus

Looking at these pictures I realize I am really liking how my hair matches the colors of fall :). My only disappointment is that the sun is setting at around 6:15pm and soon after November 3rd it will set around 5pm….

On the plus side, this weekend I feel like my friends and I really made the most of all the autumn events nears us!

We went to the Queens County Farm Museum where they had a variety of fall treats like apple cider, caramel apples, apple pie and they also sold bottles of wine from vineyards in Long Island, New York.

The farmhouse in this property still exists and it’s amazing all the trouble people would go through to make or obtain everything from glass windows, to floors to candles!

They also had a small petting zoo, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before but I adore animals! Even though sometimes they’re a little bit smelly and other times they give me allergies, I will still pet them and touch them.

This little boy was feeding this goat a bit of grass, that’s all it took to get his attention for a good five minutes.

They also had horses and ponies! I love horses and horseback riding, I do it every time I have the opportunity.

However, the highlight of the whole farm was this maze! We were given these very tall flagpoles and a flashlight, yes ladies and gentlemen we walked through this maze at night. We were a group of about fifteen, we divided ourselves into groups of three and two people and raced to see who would finish first. Fortunately my team came in second :D! You should definitely try it!
