Hi TTC Readers!
Happy belated 2014 :) I’ve been working on a few projects, on my career and I’ve met someone who I’m happily getting to know :) which left me with less time to post. I’m back and ready to kick off the first post of The Trend Crush on 2014!
As you can see from these shots New York was recently bombarded with snow. I chose to wear my grandmother’s gift, this beautiful fur coat, which really kept me warm and allowed me to wear my pink pumps ;). I accessorized and kept warm by adding a print scarf and my Calvin Klein handbag.
I want to thank everyone who reached out to me waiting patiently for my next post!
Enjoy and have a great day!

Happy Friday! Today I’m excited to share with you a new up-and-coming eCommerce site with very unique street style, introducing Bloody-Fabulous!
If you’re looking for bold street style Bloody-Fabulous is your next stop! They have everything from this totally awesome, translucent foxy chain purse featuring gold hardware, and a detachable chain to a Simpson Gone Goth Tee-Shirt!
I had the opportunity to speak with Rachel Laurel, the founder of Bloody-Fabulous who is very excited about their upcoming re-launch, as Bloody-Fabulous is moving to a new online location in about a week.
Rachel describes her site as “badass clothing, shoes, & accessories” and she could not be more right, you need to be a badass to wear her clothes! Her pieces are not meant for shy souls because in them you will stand-out in the crowd and be noticed ;).
Be sure to check out her new site at http://bloodyfabulous.storenvy.com! Have a great weekend!
I’m in my rocker-chic-mood today :). I went to Zara again, yes I’m so addicted to Zara, and I found these awesome trousers. I paired them with a regular button-down to give it a chic look and my black leather jacket to match the rocker pants. As far as my shoes go, I still wanted the outfit to be half chic and half rock inspired so I chose these white heels. Coincidentally I think it all goes well with my new hair color :).

“I wore black because I liked it. I still do, and wearing it still means something to me. It’s still my symbol of rebellion — against…people whose minds are closed to others’ ideas.”

It’s been a slow week since the 4th of July and since then my healthy eating habits went out the window. It doesn’t help that I’m reading Eat, Pray, Love and I’m up to the part where she describes pizza as “Holy of holies! Thin, doughy, strong, gummy, yummy, chewy, salty pizza paradise. On top, there is a sweet tomato sauce that foams up all bubbly and creamy when it melts the fresh buffalo mozzarella, and the one sprig of basil in the middle of the whole deal somehow infuses the entire pizza with herbal radiance…” Keeping that in mind, you can see why it’s been a bit difficult :).
About My Outfit
As I mentioned a few posts ago I love the color black, for some reason I think it suits me more often than other colors. I can agree with Johnny Cash, in that black gives off a sense of rebellion.
What’s interesting about this outfit is that this top isn’t really a top, it was a one piece bathing suit. I never wear one piece bathing suits, although I’ve contemplated doing so this summer because they’re back in style. I bought this bathing suit to purposely use it as a top. It’s a great piece for going out in this hot humid weather we’re having in NYC. I matched it with my black leather skirt and strappy heels.
